Essensos began with tobacco flavours, a field that demands precision and consistency like few others. From that foundation we expanded into flavours for food and beverage, fine fragrance, personal and home care, and natural oils, building a library of more than 18,000 formulations along the way.

Over more than 35 years we have built one of our most extensive libraries: shisha and chewing tobacco profiles, from classic double apple and mint to complex signature blends. Every flavour is formulated for the humectants, moisture and heat of its application. We supply manufacturers in markets where these products are legally permitted.

Our flavour concentrates for e-liquids and other next-generation products are formulated for clarity and stability in PG/VG bases and produced under the same certified quality system as every Essensos product. Every raw material, every process and every batch at Essensos passes through a management system certified to Halal, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP and GMP. Our flavours follow FDA guidance on substances generally recognised as safe (GRAS); our fragrances are developed in line with IFRA standards and RIFM safety assessments.

Our production is Halal certified. Halal requirements are applied across sourcing, production, storage and transport, and a Halal certificate is available on request for every order.

Food safety is designed in, not inspected in.

Our flavour production is certified to HACCP and GMP, within a quality management system certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 22000, with full traceability from raw material to delivery.

Every fragrance, assessed for safe use.

Our fragrances are developed in line with IFRA standards and RIFM safety assessments. An IFRA conformity certificate is issued for every fragrance on request.
